Time-controlled hearing aid

Hearing aid (1) which comprises a sound transducer (2a, 2b), an analogue-digital converter (3), a digital processing and adaptation circuit (6) for the processing of digital signals, corresponding to audio signals which are received by the transducer (2a, 2b), storage units for the storage of data and programmes for the digital processing and adaptation circuit, a digital-analogue converter (12), a sound generator (13), a counter element for the registration of utilisation time. and a storage unit for the storage of utilisation time, characterized in that the counter element contains a counter which registers that time for which the hearing aid has been in use, that the storage unit for the storing of the utilisation time comprises a nonvolatile memory unit (14) in which the utilisation time is summed up, that the hearing aid is arranged in such a manner that a comparison is made between the contents of that part of the non-volatile memory unit in which the summed-up utilisation time is stored and one or more limit values, and that when one or more of the limit values has been reached, a special function is initiated:
