Spectacle lens image sensing processing apparatus and spectacle lens positioning method

A spectacle lens image sensing processing apparatus comprising:

• a mark detector for detecting a micro engraved mark by sensing an image of a convex surface of a lens to be examined and performing image processing;
• a power measuring device for measuring a lens power of the lens;
• and
• switching means which is retractably inserted in an optical path of said mark detector to switch between mark detection and power measurement,
• wherein said mark detector includes a lens holder for holding the lens, and a progressive multifocal lens light source, a half mirror, and an image sensing unit which are arranged on the convex surface side of the lens, and a condenser lens, an imaging lens, and a reflection screen which are arranged on the concave surface side of the lens,
• said power measuring device includes a lens mount base on which the lens is mounted, and a power measurement light source 58, a light-sending lens, a collimator lens, and a target interposed between said light-sending lens and said collimator lens to be movable in an optical axis direction, which are arranged on the concave surface side of the lens, and an objective lens and a transmission screen which are arranged on the convex surface side of the lens,
• said switching means is retracted from said mark detector in mark detection for the lens, an image of the convex surface of the lens, which is reflected by said reflection screen, is returned to the convex surface side of the lens and guided to said image sensing unit through said half mirror, and the image of the convex surface, sensed by said image sensing unit, is subjected to image processing in an image processing unit, thereby detecting an optical characteristic of the lens,
• said switching means is inserted between said lens holder and said half mirror in power measurement for the lens, a pattern image of the target projected on said transmission screen is guided to said image sensing unit through said half mirror, and the pattern image sensed by said image sensing unit is input to said image processing unit to calculate a lens power of the lens.

A spectacle lens positioning method comprising:

• the step of sensing an image of a spectacle lens to be processed and binarizing the image;
• the step of extracting a geometrical feature parameter of each graphic pattern contained in the binarized image, and extracting a graphic pattern whose feature parameter satisfies a predetermined condition as an image of a micro engraved mark formed on the spectacle lens in advance;
• and
• the step of obtaining a reference position having a predetermined positional relationship with a processing center position at which a processing jig is to be mounted, on the binarized image, on the basis of a position of the extracted micro engraved mark.

A spectacle lens positioning method comprising:

• the step of sensing an image of a spectacle lens to be processed and binarizing the image;
• the step of extracting a geometrical feature parameter of each graphic pattern contained in the binarized image, and extracting a graphic pattern whose feature parameter satisfies a predetermined condition as an image of an upper rim of a segment formed on the spectacle lens in advance;
• and
• the step of obtaining a reference position having a predetermined positional relationship with a processing center position at which a processing jig is to be mounted, on the binarized image, on the basis of a position of the extracted upper rim of the segment.
