Abstract
A display control apparatus is an apparatus for outputting first image data and second image data to a display device and is constructed so as to selectively output the first image data and the second image data to the display device on the basis of a switching instruction to instruct the switching of an image to be displayed by the display device and a result of a discrimination to discriminate whether the image displayed by the display device can be switched or not.
Claims22
A display control apparatus for controlling a display device, the display device selectively displaying a first image represented by first image data and a second image represented by second image data, said apparatus comprising:
- switching instructing means for instructing a switching of images to be displayed by said display device;
- discriminating means for discriminating whether the switching of the images displayed by said display device can be performed or not;
- and
- control means for allowing said first image data and said second image data to be selectively outputted to said display device on the basis of the switching instruction by said switching instructing means and a discrimination result of said discriminating means.
A display control apparatus for supplying a display device with a plurality of image data, comprising:
- processing means having a plurality of processing functions for processing said plurality of image data, respectively;
- input means for inputting necessary data to said processing means;
- selecting means for selectively outputting said plurality of image data to said display device and outputting an input result of said input means to said processing means so as to be reflected to a processing function of said selected image data;
- instructing means for instructing a switching of the image data to be outputted by said selecting means;
- and
- control means for controlling an operation of said selecting means on the basis of the switching instruction by said instructing means and an input state of the data by said input means.
A computer readable storing medium in which a program has been stored, wherein said program is used to execute:
- a plurality of processing functions for processing a plurality of image data, respectively;
- a supplying process for supplying data inputted by an input member to said plurality of processing functions;
- a selecting process for selectively outputting said plurality of image data to a display device and reflecting an input result of said input member to the processing function of said selected image data;
- an instructing process for instructing a switching of the image data to be outputted by said selecting process;
- and
- a control process for controlling said selecting process on the basis of the switching instruction by said instructing process and an input state of the data by said input member.
A display control method of controlling a display device, the display device selectively displaying a first image represented by first image data and a second image represented by second image data, said method comprising:
- a switching instructing step of instructing a switching of images to be displayed by said display device;
- a discriminating step of discriminating whether the switching of the images displayed by said display device can be performed or not;
- and
- a control step of allowing said first image data and said second image data to be selectively outputted to said display device on the basis of the switching instruction by said switching instructing step and a discrimination result of said discriminating step.
