Abstract
A rack is provided for dispensing and storing spooled material. The rack has at least one platform for storing spooled material, a support for maintaining the platform above the floor level, and an axle for rotatably receiving the spools. The axle is at least substantially horizontally displaced from the peripheral edge of the platform.
Claims13
A rack for storing and dispensing spooled material suspended above a floor comprising:
- a. at least one platform, the platform
- (1) having a peripheral edge, and
- (2) being situated in a plane which is at least substantially horizontally oriented;
- b. a vertical support connecting the platform at or near its peripheral edge;
- and
- c. at least one axle for receiving the spooled material, the axle associated with and being spaced from one of the vertical support and the peripheral edge the platform.
3 more elements
A rack for storing spooled material above a floor and dispensing the material, the rack comprising:
- a. at least one vertical support;
- b. at least one platform, the platform:
- (1) being at least substantially planar and being surrounded by a peripheral edge,
- (2) being affixed to the vertical support;
- and
- c. at least two axles, each axle being spaced from the peripheral edge of the platform.
3 more elements
A rack for storing and dispensing spooled material suspended above a floor comprising:
- a. a series of platforms, each platform being at least substantially planar and being bounded by a peripheral edge, the platforms being aligned in a parallel array;
- b. a series of pairs of arms, each pair being associated with a platform;
- and
- c. a series of axles, each axle being removably maintained between the arms in one of the pairs of arms at a location parallel to and spaced from the platform with which the one pair of arms is associated.
