Abstract
A printing apparatus having a plurality of print modes and a plurality of paper feeding means is constructed by means for designating the print mode, means for selecting the paper feeding means, and means for discriminating whether a print medium corresponding to the designated print mode coincides with a print medium corresponding to the selected paper feeding means or not.
Claims17
A printing apparatus having a plurality of print modes and a plurality of paper feeding means, comprising:
- means for designating the print mode;
- means for selecting the paper feeding means;
- and
- means for discriminating whether a print medium corresponding to the designated print mode coincides with a print medium corresponding to the selected paper feeding means or not.
A printing apparatus comprising:
- one or a plurality of paper feeding means in which a kind of print medium which can be fed is preset;
- and
- discriminating means for, when a printing is performed in a print mode corresponding to the kind of the print medium, discriminating whether the kind of the print medium corresponding to said print mode has been set to the selected paper feeding means as a kind of the print medium which can be fed or not.
A printing apparatus comprising:
- a plurality of paper feeding means;
- print mode setting means for designating a print mode corresponding to a kind of the print medium;
- and
- selecting means for selecting one of said plurality of paper feeding means on the basis of the print mode set by said print mode setting means.
A print control apparatus for controlling a printing apparatus having a plurality of paper feeding means, comprising:
- print mode setting means for designating a print mode corresponding to a kind of a print medium;
- and
- selecting means for selecting one of said plurality of paper feeding means on the basis of the print mode set by said print mode setting means.
A method of controlling a printing apparatus having a plurality of paper feeding means, comprising the steps of:
- designating a print mode corresponding to a kind of a print medium;
- and
- selecting one of said plurality of paper feeding means on the basis of the print mode set in said print mode setting step.
