Abstract
There is disclosed an apparatus for expanding, decompressing and editing signals, and particularly disclosed is a signal processing equipment for printing or displaying images. The apparatus comprises compression means for image data, storing means for storing the compression data, decompression means, and editing means for editing, using only signals for edition, wherein the transfer of the data between the means is executed by the compression data.
Claims19
A signal processing equipment comprising the following elements;
- compression means for converting signals into compression data on the basis of a compression procedure,
- storing means for storing the compression data,
- decompression means for restoring the compression data from the storing means on the basis of a decompression procedure, and
- edit means for executing signal processing of the decompression signal,
- wherein the signals for the edition are restored by using the decompression means from the storing means, and wherein the processing result by the edition means is stored in the storing means by using the compression means.
A signal processing equipment comprising the following elements;
- compression means for converting signals into compression data on the basis of the compression procedure,
- storing means for storing the compression data,
- decompression means for restoring the compression data from the storing means on the basis of the decompression procedure, and
- edit means for executing signal processing of the signal stored in the storing means,
- wherein the signals for the edition are read from the storing means, and
- wherein the processing result by the edit means is stored in the storing means.
A signal processing equipment comprising the following elements;
- compression means for converting signals into compression data on the basis of a compression procedure,
- storing means for storing the compression data,
- decompression means for restoring the compression data from the storing means on the basis of a decompression procedure,
- edit means for executing signal processing of the decompressed signals, and
- a switch for changing destinations of the output signals restored by the decompression means,
- wherein the switch changes the output destinations by the edit or the output of the signals.
A signal processing equipment comprising means for signal transformation that inputs code data of selected signals representing arrangement of colors in a block, executes at least one of rotation, minification and expansion, transformation, transfer and trimming, and transmits the converted result.
A signal processing equipment, which comprises means for changing procedures or means for compression and decompression on the basis of characteristics of each signal with respect to signals having several characteristics.
