Abstract
An ether compound having a specific episulfide structure and a cured resin prepared by using this ether compound. The optical material comprising this cured resin has a decreased thickness and exhibits a small chromatic aberration, an excellent tint performance and an excellent antioxidation property.
Claims8
An ether compound having a structure represented by following formula (1) and at least one of a structure represented by following formula (2) and a structure represented by following formula (3):
- 7
- wherein X represents S or O, an average number of S represented by X is 50% or more of a total number of S and O constituting the three-membered rings, R4, R8 and R12 each represents a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms and R1 to R3, R5 to R7 and R9 to R11 each represents hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms.
A bis(β-epithioalkyl) ether compound represented by following formula (4):
- 8
- wherein R16 and R17 each represents a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, R13 to R15 and R18 to R20 each represents hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms and X represents S or 0.
