Abstract
The present invention relates to methods of inhibiting taxane metabolism in patients receiving taxane treatment, in which an effective amount of a CYP3A4 inhibitor and a CYP2C8 inhibitor are administered to the patient.
Claims19
A method of inhibiting taxane metabolism in a patient receiving taxane treatment, which method comprises administering to said patient an effective amount of a CYP3A4 inhibitor and a CYP2C8 inhibitor.
A pharmaceutical composition which comprises:
- a) an effective amount of a CYP3A4 inhibitor;
- b) an effective amount of a CYP2C8 inhibitor;
- and
- c) a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
