Abstract
The control unit of a wireless telephone apparatus comprises transmission and reception control means for controlling both transmission-processor and reception processor, and received sound wave analyzing means or data communication means, so that character information can be simultaneously sent or received between wireless telephone apparatuses capable of making call or data communication.

A wireless telephone apparatus comprising:
- wireless communication means for communicating with a remote telephone apparatus through a wireless base station,
- input means for entering data,
- data display means for displaying data,
- data communication means for communicating data with the remote telephone apparatus through said wireless communication means, and
- a control unit for controlling said data communication means during one wireless call by said wireless communication means, and controlling both of transmission control of data entered through said input means and control for display of data transmitted from the remote telephone apparatus received by said data communication means through said wireless communication means in said display means.
