Abstract
Each arm module includes a plurality of plate-shaped arms which lie on top of each other. A head slider is supported by the extending end of each arm module and faces a data recording surface of a magnetic disk. An actuator drives each arm module. Each arm module has a structure in which the plurality of plate-shaped arms which lie on top of each other are integrated with each other.

A disk drive comprising:
- a disk which is rotated;
- an arm module which comprises a plurality of plate-shaped arms which lie on top of each other;
- a head slider which is supported by the extending end of said arm module and faces said disk;
- and
- an actuator which drives said arm module,
- wherein said arm module has an arrangement in which said plurality of plate-shaped arms which lie on top of each other are integrated with each other.
