Abstract
An electric blower comprises a motor unit having a stator and a rotor, a fan unit having an impeller attached to an output shaft of the rotor, and a circuit unit having a heat-generating component for controlling electric power to the motor unit. The circuit unit is disposed in an airflow path of air expelled from an outer periphery of the impeller toward the stator and the rotor of the motor unit. The air suctioned by rotation of the impeller cools the heat-generating component in the circuit unit before cooling the stator and the rotor.
Claims36
An electric blower comprising:
- a motor unit provided with a stator and a rotor;
- a fan unit comprising an impeller attached to an output shaft of said rotor and a casing covering said impeller;
- and
- a circuit unit for controlling electric power to said motor unit, said circuit unit disposed in an airflow path of air expelled from an outer periphery of said impeller leading to said motor unit.
An electric cleaner comprising:
- a dust chamber for collecting dust;
- a suction port connected to said dust chamber in communication therewith;
- and
- an electric blower, said electric blower comprising:
- a motor unit provided with a stator and a freely rotatable rotor;
- a fan unit comprising an impeller attached to an output shaft of said rotor and a casing covering said impeller;
- and
- a circuit unit for controlling electric power to said motor unit, said circuit unit disposed in an airflow path of air expelled from an outer periphery of said impeller leading to said motor unit.
