Abstract
Fittings for adapting conventional fluorescent light fixtures to receive smaller-diameter T5 fluorescent tubes are described. The fittings include transparent tubes adapted to fit around the small-diameter T5 light, electronic components for supplying high-frequency current, and insulation caps having pins which correspond to the receptacle for the lamp that is being replaced.
Claims12
Semi-light-fittings for changing over from T8-, T10- or T12-lamps with inductive power supply units to lamps based on luminous substances T5 with electronic power supply unit wherein a T5-luminous lamp as well as electronic components for high frequency current supply of the T5-lamp are arranged in one external pipe/tube made from glass or plastic and having a diameter of T8-, T10- or T12-luminous lamps, whereby at the ends of the external tube there are insulation caps, bearing plug pins for use in a T8-, T-10 or T-12 lamp.
