Liquid crystal display device

A liquid crystal display device, comprising:

• a liquid crystal display element;
• a frame member being arranged at a displaying surface side of the liquid crystal display element, having a display window, and having a side wall at a periphery thereof;
• a light source being arranged at an opposite surface of the liquid crystal display element to the displaying surface thereof and irradiating the liquid crystal display element with light;
• and
• a housing member having a side wall formed at a periphery thereof and housing the light source therein,
• wherein a screw member having a tapped hole which a fitting screw for fixing the liquid crystal display device to the exterior case to the liquid crystal display device is screwed to is provided at the side wall of the housing member,
• the side wall of the housing member has a protruded portion thereof being protruded in a thickness direction of the liquid crystal display device at a region thereof where the screw member is provided, and
• the frame member has an opening into which the protruded portion of the housing member is inserted.

A liquid crystal display device, comprising:

• a liquid crystal display element;
• a frame member being arranged at a displaying surface side of the liquid crystal display element, and having a display window;
• a light source being arranged at an opposite surface of the liquid crystal display element to the displaying surface thereof and irradiating the liquid crystal display element with light;
• and
• a housing member having a side wall formed at a periphery thereof and housing the light source therein,
• wherein a screw member having a tapped hole which a fitting screw for fixing the liquid crystal display device to the exterior case is screwed to is provided at the side wall of the housing member, and
• in a cross section of the screw member in a thickness direction of the liquid crystal display device, a length of the screw member in a vertical direction to the thickness direction of the liquid crystal display device is longer than that in the thickness direction of the liquid crystal display device.

A liquid crystal display device comprising:

• a liquid crystal display element;
• a frame member being arranged at a displaying surface side of the liquid crystal display element, and having a display window;
• a light source being arranged at an opposite surface of the liquid crystal display element to the displaying surface thereof and irradiating the liquid crystal display element with illumination light;
• and
• a housing member having a side wall formed at a periphery thereof and housing the light source therein,
• wherein a screw member having a tapped hole which a fitting screw for fixing the liquid crystal display device to the exterior case is screwed to is fixed at the side wall of the housing member with adhesive or mechanical means.

A liquid crystal display device, comprising:

• a liquid crystal display element;
• a frame member being arranged at a displaying surface side of the liquid crystal display element, and having a display window;
• a light source being arranged at an opposite surface of the liquid crystal display element to the displaying surface thereof and irradiating the liquid crystal display element with light;
• and
• a housing member having a side wall formed at a periphery thereof and housing the light source therein,
• wherein the side wall of the housing member has a slot being provided in a thickness direction of the liquid crystal display device and having an opening thereof being covered by the frame member,
• a screw member having a tapped hole which a fitting screw for fixing the liquid crystal display device to the exterior case is screwed to is inserted in the slot being formed at the side wall of the housing member.

A liquid crystal display device, comprising:

• a liquid crystal display element;
• a frame member being arranged at a displaying surface side of the liquid crystal display element, and having a display window;
• a light source being arranged at an opposite surface of the liquid crystal display element to the displaying surface thereof and irradiating the liquid crystal display element with light;
• and
• a housing member having a side wall formed at a periphery thereof and housing the light source therein,
• wherein the liquid crystal display device has a screw member having a tapped hole which a fitting screw for fixing the liquid crystal display device to the exterior case is screwed to,
• the screw member is made up of a central portion thereof at which the tapped hole is formed and protruded portions thereof formed to be integrated with the central portion at both side of the central portion,
• the side wall of the housing member has an opening into which the central portion of the screw member is inserted and a pair of slots being formed in counter directions to one another in a thickness direction of the liquid crystal display device, and
• the protruded portions of the screw member are inserted in the pair of slots respectively.

A liquid crystal display device, comprising:

• a liquid crystal display element;
• a frame member being arranged at a displaying surface side of the liquid crystal display element, having a display window, and having a side wall thereof formed at a periphery thereof;
• a light source being arranged at an opposite surface of the liquid crystal display element to the displaying surface thereof and irradiating the liquid crystal display element with light;
• and
• a housing member having a side wall formed at a periphery thereof and housing the light source therein,
• wherein a hollow portion is provided in the side wall of the housing member, the hollow portion has an opening in a surface of the side wall of the housing member being opposite to the side wall of the frame member,
• a screw member having a tapped hole which a fitting screw for fixing the liquid crystal display device to the exterior case is screwed to is provided in the hollow portion of the housing member,
• the screw member is held by the side wall of the frame member and a pawl being provided at the side wall of the frame member.

A liquid crystal display device, comprising:

• a liquid crystal display element;
• a frame member being arranged at a displaying surface side of the liquid crystal display element, having a display window, and having a side wall thereof formed at a periphery thereof;
• a light source being arranged at an opposite surface of the liquid crystal display element to the displaying surface thereof and irradiating the liquid crystal display element with light;
• and
• a housing member having a side wall formed at a periphery thereof and housing the light source therein,
• wherein the side wall of the frame member has a tapped hole to which a fitting screw for fixing the liquid crystal display device to the exterior case is screwed.

A liquid crystal display device, comprising:

• a liquid crystal display element;
• a frame member being arranged at a displaying surface side of the liquid crystal display element, having a display window, and having a side wall at a periphery thereof;
• a light source being arranged at an opposite surface of the liquid crystal display element to the displaying surface thereof and irradiating the liquid crystal display element with light;
• and
• a housing member having a side wall formed at a periphery thereof and housing the light source therein,
• wherein the frame member has a screw member comprising a spring and having a tapped hole to which a fitting screw for fixing the liquid crystal display device to the exterior case is screwed.

A liquid crystal display device, comprising:

• a liquid crystal display element;
• a light source being arranged at an opposite surface of the liquid crystal display element to a displaying surface thereof and irradiating the liquid crystal display element with light;
• a housing member having a side wall formed at a periphery thereof and housing the light source therein;
• and
• a driving circuit board being arranged between the liquid crystal display element and the side wall of the housing member,
• wherein the driving circuit board has a concave portion thereof being formed at a region where a fitting screw for fixing the liquid crystal display device to the exterior case is provided.

A liquid crystal display device, comprising:

• a liquid crystal display element;
• a light source being arranged at an opposite surface of the liquid crystal display element to a displaying surface thereof and irradiating the liquid crystal display element with light;
• a housing member having a side wall formed at a periphery thereof and housing the light source therein;
• and
• a driving circuit board being arranged between the liquid crystal display element and the side wall of the housing member,
• wherein a region of the driving circuit board where a fitting screw for fixing the liquid crystal display device to the exterior case is provided is formed of the flexible wiring circuit board.
