Abstract
An ink jet recording material for non-aqueous ink, which comprises an ink-absorbing layer containing at least a pigment on a support, the ink-absorbing layer being coated or impregnated with a polymer soluble or swellable in a petroleum system high boiling point solvent, wherein at least 30 wt % of the pigment is calcium carbonate.
Claims18
An ink jet recording material for non-aqueous ink, which comprises an ink-absorbing layer containing at least a pigment on a support, the ink-absorbing layer being coated or impregnated with a polymer soluble or swellable in a petroleum system high boiling point solvent, wherein at least 30 wt % of the pigment is calcium carbonate.
An ink jet recording material for non-aqueous ink, which comprises an ink-absorbing layer containing at least a pigment on a support, the ink-absorbing layer being coated or impregnated with a polymer soluble or swellable in a petroleum system high boiling point solvent, wherein at least 30 wt % of the pigment is kaolin.
An ink jet recording material for non-aqueous ink, which comprises an ink-absorbing layer containing at least a pigment on a support, the ink-absorbing layer being coated or impregnated with a polymer soluble or swellable in a petroleum system high boiling point solvent, wherein the pigment is barium sulfate.
An ink jet recording material for non-aqueous ink, which comprises an ink-absorbing layer of at least one layer on a support, the ink-absorbing layer containing a polymer soluble or swellable in a petroleum system high boiling point solvent, wherein an undercoat layer containing at least one pigment selected from the group consisting of barium sulfate, calcium carbonate, titanium oxide and kaolin is provided between the support and the ink-absorbing layer.
