This invention relates to a two-part token and to a method of using same for business purposes. Tokens can be as a substitute for money, for example for vending machines, or as an exchange means, for example for buying a product or a service or borrow an object such as a book in a library. Such tokens allow a seller to reward the buyers or users who have used a large number of tokens. The invention allows for this by providing a token that is cheap to manufacture and very easy to handle. This token is in two parts, an inner one and an outer one, both parts being assembled by similarity of form. The token is provided with means for indexing the inner part on the outer part, and a code is stamped on each part such that, when the parts are assembled, both codes are mutually extending each other, the two codes being extensions of each other in being, preferably, adjacent to each other.
A two-part token comprising an inner and an outer part assembled by similarity of form, and provided with a means for indexing the inner part on the outer part, and a code stamped on each part on specially chosen places so that, when the parts are assembled, the two codes are extensions of each other in being, preferably, adjacent to each other.
Method of using a two-part token for business purposes, the token comprising an inner and an outer part, assembled by similarity of form, and provided with a means for indexing the inner part on the outer part, and a customer identity code and a product or service identity code respectively stamped on the inner and the outer part on specially chosen places so that, when the parts are assembled, the two codes are extensions of each other in being, preferably, adjacent to each other,
