Abstract
A method of treating a patient suffering from a disease, disorder or condition includes the administration to the patient of a therapeutically effective amount of botulinum toxin of a selected serotype until the patient experiences loss of clinical response to the administered botulinum toxin and thereafter administering to the patient a therapeutically effective amount of another botulinum toxin of a different serotype.
Claims10
A method of treating a patient suffering from a neuromuscular disorder or condition, said method comprising administering to the patient a therapeutically effective amount of botulinum toxin of a selected serotype until the patient experiences loss of clinical response to the administered botulinum toxin and thereafter administering to the patient another botulinum toxin of a different serotype, said another botulinum toxin being administered in therapeutically effective amounts.
A method of treating a patient suffering from a neuromuscular disorder or condition, said method comprising administration to the patient of a therapeutically effective amount of botulinum toxin of a selected serotype until the patient develops neutralizing antibodies and thereafter administering to the patient another botulinum toxin of a different serotype, said another botulinum toxin being administered in a therapeutically effective amount.
A method of treating a patient suffering from a neuromuscular disorder or condition, said method comprising administering to the patient a therapeutically effective amount of botulinum toxin serotype A until the patient develops neutralizing antibodies and thereafter administering to the patient a therapeutically effective amount of a different serotype of botulinum toxin.
A method of treating a patient suffering from a neuromuscular disorder or condition, said method comprising administering to the patient a therapeutically effective amount of botulinum toxin type B until the patient develops neutralizing antibodies and thereafter administering to the patient a therapeutically effective amount of a serotype different from botulinum toxin type B.
