Abstract
The present invention relates to a developing apparatus in which a developer bearing body is provided at its longitudinal part with a roughness formed surface, and a leakage preventing member contacts with the developer bearing body outside of the roughness formed surface in a longitudinal direction.
Claims9
A developing apparatus comprising:
- a developing container containing developer:
- a developer bearing body provided at an opening portion of said developing container and adapted to bear and carry the developer to a developing position, said developer bearing body being provided at its longitudinal part with a roughness formed surface;
- and
- a leakage preventing member contacted with a longitudinal end of said developer bearing body to prevent leakage of the developer, said leakage preventing member contacting with said developer bearing body outside of said roughness formed surface in a longitudinal direction.
