Abstract
The present invention relates to shielded bundles or harnesses of electrical conductors, provided with a metal shielding sheath. According to the invention, at least one network of braid elements (ETi, ETe, ET) is provided, these being braided directly on said bundle (F) using filaments of a wear-resistant material, so that said network of braid elements forms a protection (Pe, Pi) against the frictional wear liable to be exerted by said metal sheath (EG).
Claims21
A multibranched bundle (F) of electrical conductors (C), provided with an electromagnetic shielding system (G) which consists of a network of metal sheath elements (EG) surrounding said conductors (C) and providing the electrical continuity of said shielding system (G), as well as a network of elements (ETi, ETe, ET) which are intended for protection against the frictional wear liable to be exerted by said metal sheath elements (EG), in which said metal sheath elements (EG) and said protective elements (ETi, ETe, ET) consist of braid elements formed directly on said bundle, using wires on the one hand and filaments of a wear-resistant material on the other.
A process for the production of a multibranched bundle (F) of electrical conductors (C) provided with an electromagnetic shielding system (G) which consists of a network of metal sheath elements (EG) surrounding said conductors and providing the electrical continuity of said shielding system, as well as a network of elements (ETi, ETe, ET) intended as protection against the frictional wear liable to be exerted by said metal sheath elements (EG), in which said metal sheath and said protection are obtained by the braiding, directly on said bundle, of networks of braid elements (EG, ETe, ETi, ET), consisting of wires on the one hand and of filaments of a wear-resistant material on the other.
