## Abstract

A toolholder (14) for fastening a chipping tool is specified, having a holding body (22) extending along a holding center axis (20), having a first tool-side end (24) and a second toolholder-side end (26) opposite the first end (24), wherein the holding body (22) comprises at least one coolant supply channel (28) spaced apart from the holding central axis (20), wherein a discharge element (34) is arranged at the second end (26), in which at least one channel-like discharge nozzle (36) is formed, which is fluidly connected to the coolant supply channel (28) and through which coolant can be ejected onto a tool held in the toolholder (14), and wherein a nozzle longitudinal axis (40) extending centrally in the discharge nozzle (36) is inclined to the holding center axis (20) in the radial direction and in the circumferential direction. Furthermore, a cutting apparatus (10) having a toolholder (14) is specified.

## Claims

### Claim 1

a discharge element arranged at the second end and having a plurality of discharge units formed therein, each discharge unit includes a plurality of discharge nozzles, the plurality of discharge nozzles of one discharge unit are fluidly connected to one coolant supply channel, such that a coolant is ejected through each discharge nozzle onto a tool held in the toolholder, at least one coolant supply channel is configured at least in one section as a slot, the slot extends through the holding body and is defined by a pair of walls of the holding body opposite each other, each discharge nozzle has a nozzle longitudinal axis extending centrally through the discharge nozzle, the nozzle longitudinal axis being angularly offset from the holding center axis about two non-parallel axes, the angular offset comprising a first angular component in a radial plane of the discharge element and a second angular component in a circumferential plane of the discharge element.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The toolholder according to claim 1, wherein offsetting of the nozzle longitudinal axis in the radial plane and/or circumferential plane is between 6° and 15°.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The toolholder of claim 1, wherein the nozzle longitudinal axis is offset into the circumferential plane more than into the radial plane.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The toolholder according to claim 1, wherein offsetting of the nozzle longitudinal axis in the radial plane and/or in the circumferential plane is between 3° and 30°.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The toolholder of claim 1, wherein the discharge nozzles are offset differently in the radial plane and/or in the circumferential plane.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The toolholder according to claim 1, wherein at least one discharge nozzle tapers towards an outlet.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The toolholder according to claim 1, wherein at least one coolant supply channel extends at least in sections inside the holding body.

### Claim 8 (depends on 1)

The toolholder according to claim 1, wherein the at least one coolant supply channel is also configured in at least one other section as a groove that extends on an outer circumference of the holding body, the groove extends partially into the holding body.

### Claim 9 (depends on 1)

The toolholder according to claim 1, wherein each coolant supply channel comprises a cooling manifold section, via which the coolant is distributed to the plurality of discharge nozzles of one discharge unit.

### Claim 10 (depends on 9)

The toolholder according to claim 9, wherein each cooling manifold section extends only over a partial region of a circumference of the holding body.

### Claim 11 (depends on 1)

A cutting apparatus having a toolholder according to claim 1, wherein the cutting apparatus comprises an expansion chuck having a holding section into which the toolholder is inserted.

### Claim 12 (depends on 1)

The toolholder according to claim 1, wherein the toolholder fastens a chipping tool.

### Claim 13 (depends on 9)

The toolholder according to claim 9, wherein at least one cooling manifold section extends only over a partial region of a circumference of the holding body.

### Claim 14 (depends on 1)

The toolholder according to claim 1, wherein each discharge unit is distributed circumferentially around the holding center axis.

### Claim 15
