Communication system and method for enabling inactivity timeout based on terminal timer

A communication system for enabling an inactivity timeout based on a terminal timer, the system comprising:

• a processing device including one or more processors coupled with a memory, wherein the memory stores instructions which when executed by the one or more processors causes the system to:
• receive, by a Universal Integrated Circuit Card (UICC) communicatively coupled with a terminal, a request for one or more data packets having one or more protocols from at least one server to establish communication between the UICC and the at least one server;
• initiate, by the UICC, a timer command to a timer associated with the terminal upon transferring the one or more received data packets to the terminal;
• enable, by the UICC, status of a server unresponsive flag to be at least one of a true and a false, based on an operating status of the at least one server, wherein the operating status of the at least one server is determined based on the established communication;
• and
• terminate, by the UICC, the channel between the UICC and the terminal based on the status of the server unresponsive flag.
