STR capability indication method and related apparatus

A multi-link device (MLD) comprising:

• a memory storing executable instructions;
• and
• a processor configured to execute the executable instructions to perform operations of:
• determining whether the MLD supports transmission on a first link concurrent with reception on a second link;
• determining whether the MLD supports transmission on the second link concurrent with reception on the first link;
• determining that the MLD does not support a simultaneous transmit and receive (STR) operation on a link pair comprising the first link and the second link when determining that
• the MLD supports the transmission on the second link concurrent with the reception on the first link and does not support the transmission on the first link concurrent with the reception on the second link, or
• the MLD supports the transmission on the first link concurrent with the reception on the second link and does not support transmission on the second link concurrent with reception on the first link;
• and
• sending indication information to a second device, wherein the indication information indicates that the MLD does not support the STR operation on the link pair.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium having stored thereon executable instructions that when executed by a processor of a multi-link device (MLD) cause the MLD to perform operations of:

• determining whether the MLD supports transmission on a first link concurrent with reception on a second link;
• determining whether the MLD supports transmission on the second link concurrent with reception on the first link;
• determining that the MLD does not support a simultaneous transmit and receive (STR) operation on a link pair comprising the first link and the second link when determining that
• the MLD supports the transmission on the second link concurrent with the reception on the first link and does not support the transmission on the first link concurrent with the reception on the second link, or
• the MLD supports the transmission on the first link concurrent with the reception on the second link and does not support the transmission on the second link concurrent with the reception on the first link;
• and
• sending indication information to a second device, wherein the indication information indicates that the MLD does not support the STR operation on the link pair.
