5G PRB blanking system with 5G phone to prevent interference between signal transmissions from different networks

A system for use in a communication network comprising:

• a memory that stores computer-executable instructions;
• and
• a processor that executes the computer-executable instructions and causes the processor to:
• configure the 5G network to enable reversing an original direction of transmission upon request from a 5G end user mobile device, wherein the original direction of transmission is from a first cellular network to a 5G Core to a second cellular network to the 5G end user mobile device, wherein the first cellular network produces a signal that generates interference for the second cellular network;
• receive a request to use a specified frequency at a specified time to communicate with the first cellular network that is producing the interference generating signal;
• using the first cellular network to create frequency notches in the signal that generates interference by blocking transmission of the signal at the specified time that are available for the 5G end user mobile device to transmit to the first cellular network, in response to the request to use the specified frequency at the specified time to communicate with the first cellular network;
• and
• after the first cellular network to creates of the frequency notches in response to the request, facilitate transmissions from the 5G end user mobile device to the first cellular network in the frequency notches at the specified time.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium having computer-executable instructions stored thereon that, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to:

• configure a 5G network to enable reversing an original direction of transmission upon request from a 5G end user mobile device, wherein the original direction of transmission is from a first cellular network to a 5G Core to a second cellular network to the 5G end user mobile device, wherein the first cellular network produces a signal that generates interference for the second cellular network;
• request to use a specified frequency at a specified time to communicate with the first cellular network that is producing the interference generating signal;
• using the first cellular network to create frequency notches in the signal that generates interference by blocking transmission of the signal at the specified time that are available for the 5G end user mobile device to transmit to the first cellular network, in response to the request to use the specified frequency at the specified time to communicate with the first cellular network;
• and
• after the first cellular network to creates of the frequency notches in response to the request, facilitate transmissions from the 5G end user mobile device to the first cellular network in the specified notches at the specified time.
