## Abstract

The devices, systems, and methods discussed herein involve abase station (e.g., gNB) that employs a broadcast technology such as the Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service (MBMS) to relay hidden-node information to the neighboring UE devices. In some examples, a base station receives at least one report based on data acquired by at least one non-communication sensor of a user equipment (UE) device. Based on the at least one report, the base station transmits a message to another UE device that results in the other UE device refraining from using communication resources that will interfere with transmissions by other UE devices.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A first base station comprising:
a receiver configured to:
receive at least one report based on data acquired by at least one non-communication sensor, the at least one report containing first heading information pertaining to a first user equipment (UE) device, first communication resources reserved by the first UE device, and second communication resources reserved by a second UE device that has a heading that corresponds with the first heading information; and
a transmitter configured to transmit a message, based at least partially on the at least one report, to a third UE device having a heading that does not correspond with the first heading information, wherein transmitting the message results in the third UE device refraining from using communication resources for transmission that will interfere with transmissions by the first UE device and the second UE device.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The first base station of claim 1, wherein the receiver is configured to receive the at least one report from the first UE device.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The first base station of claim 1, wherein the at least one report comprises:
a first report, received from the first UE device, containing the first heading information pertaining to the first UE device and the first communication resources reserved by the first UE device, and
a second report, received from the second UE device, containing second heading information pertaining to the second UE device and the second communication resources reserved by the second UE device.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The first base station of claim 1, wherein the at least one report contains first location information pertaining to the first UE device.
