Abstract
The present disclosure provides a method for transmitting uplink control information, a method for receiving uplink control information, a method for configuring a downlink HARQ feedback function, a terminal and a base station. The method for transmitting uplink control information comprises: transmitting uplink control information to a base station, wherein the uplink control information comprises at least one of decoding statistical information for downlink transmission, suggestion information for downlink scheduling, or channel quality related information.
Claims19
A method of a terminal for transmitting uplink control information, the method comprising:
- receiving, from a base station via radio resource control (RRC) signaling, configuration information on a length of a time window for statistically generating the uplink control information;
- based on the configuration information on the length of the time window, accumulating a number of downlink transmissions received within the time window, wherein a plurality of downlink transmissions corresponding to a same transport block (TB) are counted as one downlink transmission;
- in response to determining that the accumulated number of the downlink transmissions reaches a preconfigured threshold (Ntotal) generating decoding statistical information for the downlink transmission,
- wherein the decoding statistical information is generated every time the accumulated number of the downlink transmissions reaches the Ntotal, and
- wherein the decoding statistical information for the downlink transmission includes at least one of:
- a decoding success ratio, a decoding failure ratio, cumulative times of decoding successes, or cumulative times of decoding failures of the downlink transmission within the time window;
- and
- based on that a downlink hybrid automatic repeat and request (HARQ) feedback function is disabled, transmitting, to the base station, the uplink control information including the decoding statistical information for the downlink transmissions.
A method of a base station for receiving uplink control information, the method comprising:
- transmitting, to a terminal via radio resource control (RRC) signaling, configuration information on a length of a time window for statistically generating the uplink control information,
- wherein based on the configuration information on the length of the time window, a number of downlink transmissions received by the terminal within the time window is accumulated and wherein a plurality of downlink transmissions corresponding to a same transport block (TB) are counted as one downlink transmission, and
- wherein, in response to determining that the accumulated number of the downlink transmission reaches a threshold (Ntotal) decoding statistical information for the downlink transmission is generated,
- wherein the decoding statistical information is generated every time the accumulated number of the downlink transmissions reaches the Ntotal, and
- wherein the decoding statistical information for the downlink transmission includes at least one of:
- a decoding success ratio, a decoding failure ratio, cumulative times of decoding successes, or cumulative times of decoding failures of the downlink transmission within the time window;
- and
- based on that a downlink hybrid automatic repeat and request (HARQ) feedback function is disabled, receiving, from the terminal, the uplink control information including the decoding statistical information for the downlink transmission.
A terminal for transmitting uplink control information, the terminal comprising:
- at least one transceiver;
- and
- at least one processor operably coupled to the transceiver,
- at least one memory, communicatively coupled to the at least one processor, storing instructions executable by the at least one processor to cause the terminal to:
- receive, from a base station, via radio resource control (RRC) signaling, configuration information on a length of a time window for statistically generating the uplink control information;
- based on the configuration information on the length of the time window, accumulating a number of downlink transmissions received within the time window, wherein a plurality of downlink transmissions corresponding to a same transport block (TB) are counted as one downlink transmission;
- in response to determining that the accumulated number of downlink transmissions reaches a threshold (Ntotal) generate decoding statistical information for the downlink transmissions,
- wherein the decoding statistical information is generated every time the accumulated number of the downlink transmissions reaches the Ntotal, and
- wherein the decoding statistical information for the downlink transmission includes at least one of:
- a decoding success ratio, a decoding failure ratio, cumulative times of decoding successes, or cumulative times of decoding failures of the downlink transmission within the time window;
- and
- based on that a downlink hybrid automatic repeat and request (HARQ) feedback function is disabled, transmit, to the base station, the uplink control information including the decoding statistical information for the downlink transmissions.
