Abstract
A terminal configures bandwidth resources narrower than a normal minimum unit when specific condition is met or specific notification is received. The terminal performs reception operation including monitoring on the bandwidth resources configured.
Claims13
A terminal comprising:
- a processor that configures bandwidth resources narrower than a normal minimum unit when a specific condition is met;
- in a case where a specified period of time elapses in which instruction to send or receive data is not received, the processor configures the bandwidth resources narrower than a normal minimum unit;
- in a case where instruction to enter a Discontinuous Reception (DRX) state is received, the processor configures the bandwidth resources narrower than a normal minimum unit;
- in a case where instruction to send or receive data is received after the terminal enters the DRX state, the processor configures the bandwidth resources narrower than a normal minimum unit;
- in a case where the terminal enters an IDLE state, the processor configures the bandwidth resources narrower than a normal minimum unit;
- and
- a transceiver that performs reception operation including monitoring on the bandwidth resources configured.

A base station comprising:
- a processor that allocates bandwidth resources narrower than a normal minimum unit to a terminal when a specific condition is met;
- in a case where a specified period of time elapses in which instruction to send or receive data is not transmitted, the processor allocates the bandwidth resources narrower than a normal minimum unit;
- in a case where instruction to enter a Discontinuous Reception (DRX) state is transmitted, the processor allocates the bandwidth resources narrower than a normal minimum unit;
- in a case where instruction to send or receive data is transmitted after the terminal enters the DRX state the processor allocates the bandwidth resources narrower than a normal minimum unit;
- in a case where the terminal enters an IDLE state, the processor allocates the bandwidth resources narrower than a normal minimum unit;
- and
- a transceiver that transmits a notification related to allocation of the narrower bandwidth resources to the terminal.

A communication method of a terminal, comprising:
- configuring bandwidth resources narrower than a normal minimum unit when a specific condition is met;
- in a case where a specified period of time elapses in which instruction to send or receive data is not received, configuring the bandwidth resources narrower than a normal minimum unit;
- in a case where instruction to enter a Discontinuous Reception (DRX) state is received, configuring the bandwidth resources narrower than a normal minimum unit;
- in a case where instruction to send or receive data is received after the terminal enters the DRX state, configuring the bandwidth resources narrower than a normal minimum unit;
- in a case where the terminal enters an IDLE state, configuring the bandwidth resources narrower than a normal minimum unit;
- and
- performing reception operations including monitoring on the bandwidth resources configured.

A communication method of a base station, comprising:
- allocating bandwidth resources narrower than a normal minimum unit to a terminal when a specific condition is met;
- in a case where a specified period of time elapses in which instruction to send or receive data is not transmitted, allocating the bandwidth resources narrower than a normal minimum unit;
- in a case where instruction to enter a Discontinuous Reception (DRX) state is transmitted, allocating the bandwidth resources narrower than a normal minimum unit;
- in a case where instruction to send or receive data is transmitted after the terminal enters the DRX state, allocating the bandwidth resources narrower than a normal minimum unit;
- in a case where the terminal enters an IDLE state, allocating the bandwidth resources narrower than a normal minimum unit;
- and
- transmitting a notification related to allocation of the narrower bandwidth resources to the terminal.
