Operation method of UE related to transmission of system information in sidelink DRX in wireless communication system

A relay user equipment (UE), the relay UE comprising:

• at least one processor;
• and
• at least one computer memory connected operably to the at least one processor and configured to store instructions for enabling the at least one processor to perform operations when executed,
• wherein the operations comprise establishing a sidelink connection with a remote UE by the relay UE;
• receiving, from a base station, system information or a paging message;
• and
• transmitting, to the remote UE, the system information or the paging message,
• wherein the remote UE operates based on sidelink discontinuous reception (DRX),
• wherein the system information or the paging message is transmitted within an on-duration related to a DRX configuration unrelated to PQI (PC5 5G Quality of Service Identifier) based on that the transmission of the system information or the paging message is broadcast or groupcast, and
• wherein a broadcast message other than the system information and the paging message is transmitted based on a PQI-specific DRX configuration.

A processor performing operations for a relay user equipment (UE), the operations comprising:

• establishing a sidelink connection with a remote UE by the relay UE;
• receiving, from a base station, system information or a paging message;
• and
• transmitting, to the remote UE, the system information or the paging message,
• wherein the remote UE operates based on sidelink discontinuous reception (DRX),
• wherein the system information or the paging message is transmitted within an on-duration related to a DRX configuration unrelated to PQI (PC5 5G Quality of Service Identifier) based on that the transmission of the system information or the paging message is broadcast or groupcast, and
• wherein a broadcast message other than the system information and the paging message is transmitted based on a PQI-specific DRX configuration.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing at least one computer program comprising an instruction configured to enable at least one processor to perform operations for a relay user equipment (UE) when executed by the at least one processor, the operations comprising:

• establishing a sidelink connection with a remote UE;
• receiving, from a base station, system information or a paging message;
• and
• transmitting, to the remote UE, the system information or the paging message,
• wherein the remote UE operates based on sidelink discontinuous reception (DRX),
• wherein the system information or the paging message is transmitted within an on-duration related to a DRX configuration unrelated to PQI (PC5 5G Quality of Service Identifier) based on that the transmission of the system information or the paging message is broadcast or groupcast, and
• wherein a broadcast message other than the system information and the paging message is transmitted based on a PQI-specific DRX configuration.
