Method of transceiving sidelink positioning protocol message in wireless communication system and apparatus thereof

A first user equipment (UE) comprising:

• at least one processor;
• and
• at least one memory storing instructions thereon that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the first UE to perform at least:
• based on a location service request being received, initiating at least one positioning protocol session with at least one second UE;
• generating a positioning protocol message related to at least one positioning protocol session;
• and
• transmitting the positioning protocol message to the at least one second UE,
• wherein the positioning protocol message includes at least one positioning protocol session identifier for identifying the at least one positioning protocol session and at least one positioning protocol transaction identifier for identifying at least one positioning protocol transaction belonging to the at least one positioning protocol session.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium comprising program instructions that, when executed by a processor, cause a first user equipment (UE) to perform at least the following:

• based on a location service request being received, initiating at least one positioning protocol session with at least one second UE;
• generating a positioning protocol message related to the at least one positioning protocol session;
• and
• transmitting the positioning protocol message to the at least one second UE,
• wherein the positioning protocol message includes at least one positioning protocol session identifier for identifying the at least one positioning protocol session and at least one positioning protocol transaction identifier for identifying at least one positioning protocol transaction belonging to the at least one positioning protocol session.
