Abstract
First user equipment generates a first temporary identifier based on a first key; the first user equipment sends a first request to second user equipment, where the first request is used to establish a communication connection between the first user equipment and the second user equipment, and the first request includes the first temporary identifier and a relay service code; and the first user equipment generates a shared key based on a second key and the relay service code, where the shared key is used to protect the communication connection between the first user equipment and the second user equipment.
Claims20
A method, comprising:
- generating, by a first communication apparatus a first temporary identifier based on a first key generated in an authentication procedure, a network identifier of a remote UE, and routing information, wherein the network identifier of the remote UE is used by a network side to identify information about the remote UE, and wherein the routing information is routing information used to determine a core network element related to the remote UE, wherein the first communication apparatus is the remote UE or a chip of the remote UE;
- sending, by the first communication apparatus, a first request to a UE-to-Network Relay, wherein the first request requests to establish a communication connection between the remote UE and the UE-to-Network Relay second communication apparatus, and the first request comprises the first temporary identifier and a relay service code;
- and
- generating, by the first communication apparatus, a shared key based on the first key generated in the authentication procedure and the relay service code, wherein the shared key is associated with protecting the communication connection between the remote UE and the UE-to-Network Relay.
A method, comprising:
- generating, by a first network element, a first temporary identifier based on a first key generated in an authentication procedure, a network identifier of a remote user equipment (UE), and routing information, wherein the network identifier of the remote UE is used by a network side to identify information about the remote UE, and wherein the routing information is routing information used to determine a core network element related to the remote UE;
- receiving, by the first network element, a key obtaining message from a second network element, wherein the key obtaining message comprises an identifier of the remote UE and a relay service code, and the identifier of the remote UE comprises the first temporary identifier or the network identifier of the remote UE;
- and
- generating, by the first network element, a shared key based on the identifier of the remote UE, the relay service code, and the first key, wherein the shared key is associated with protecting a communication connection between the remote UE and a UE-to-Network Relay, and the first key is generated by the first network element in the authentication procedure of the remote UE;
- and
- sending, by the first network element, the shared key to the second network element.
A first communication apparatus, comprising:
- at least one processor;
- and
- at least one non-transitory memory, coupled to the at least one processor, the at least one memory storing instructions for execution by the at least one processor, wherein the at least one processor, the at least one non-transitory memory and the instructions are configured to cause the first communication apparatus to:
- generate a first temporary identifier based on a first key generated in an authentication procedure, a network identifier of a remote UE, and routing information, wherein the network identifier of the remote UE is used by a network side to identify information about the remote UE, and wherein the routing information is routing information used to determine a core network element related to the remote UE, wherein the first communication apparatus is the remote UE or a chip of the remote UE;
- send a first request to a UE-to-Network Relay, wherein the first request requests to establish a communication connection between the remote UE and the UE-to-Network Relay, and the first request comprises the first temporary identifier and a relay service code;
- and
- generate a shared key based on the first key and the relay service code, wherein the shared key is associated with protecting the communication connection between the remote UE and the UE-to-Network Relay.
An apparatus, comprising:
- at least one processor;
- and
- at least one non-transitory memory coupled to the at least one processor and storing instructions for execution by the at least one processor, wherein the at least one processor, the at least one non-transitory memory and the instructions are configured to execute the instructions to cause the apparatus to:
- generate a first temporary identifier based on a first key, comprising:
- generating the first temporary identifier based on the first key, a network identifier of a remote UE, and routing information, wherein the network identifier of the remote UE is used by a network side to identify information about the remote UE, and wherein the routing information is routing information used to determine a core network element related to the remote UE;
- receive a key obtaining message from a second network element, wherein the key obtaining message comprises an identifier of the remote UE and a relay service code, and the identifier of the remote UE comprises the first temporary identifier or the network identifier of the remote UE;
- generate a shared key based on the identifier of the remote UE, the relay service code, and the first key, wherein the shared key is used to protect a communication connection between the remote UE and a UE-to-Network Relay, and the first key is generated in an authentication procedure of the remote UE;
- and
- send the shared key to the second network element.
