Personalized artist data with curated action items

A method comprising:

• monitoring, by a media content platform over a time period, interaction with an artist by multiple user accounts;
• generating artist data for the artist that describes the interaction with the artist by the multiple user accounts over the time period;
• receiving, by the media content platform, activity data describing at least one activity performed by the artist;
• determining an artist segment to associate with the artist based on the artist data and the activity data;
• generating, based on the artist segment, a recommendation of an action for the artist to take to increase interaction with the artist;
• and
• outputting the recommendation in a user interface by a device associated with an artist account of the artist.

A system comprising:

• one or more processors;
• and
• a computer-readable storage medium coupled to the one or more processors and storing instructions that are executable by the one or more processors to perform operations comprising:
• monitoring interaction with an artist by multiple user accounts;
• generating data for the artist that describes the interaction with the artist by the multiple user accounts;
• receiving a request to access the data for the artist, the request including credentials associated with an originator of the request;
• validating that the credentials associated with the originator of the request are associated with an entity authorized by the artist to access the data for the artist;
• in response to validating that the originator of the request is authorized to access the data for the artist, configuring a user interface that presents at least a portion of the data for the artist and includes at least one action item to be performed based on the at least the portion of the data;
• and
• displaying the user interface at a computing device.
