## Abstract

Methods, apparatuses, and non-transitory computer-readable storage mediums are provided for video decoding. In one method, a decoder receives a Sequence Parameter Set (SPS) coefficient enabled flag that indicates whether a slice header (SH) coefficient enabled flag is present in slice header syntax structure referring to the SPS. In a second method, the decoder may receive a Sequence Parameter Set (SPS) transform precision adaption enabled flag that indicates whether downshifts in a scaling process for transform coefficients and in a transformation process for scaled transform coefficients are adaptively assigned by examining coefficients values of dequantization and inverse transform.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A method for video decoding, comprising:
receiving, by a decoder, a Sequence Parameter Set (SPS) reversed coordinates of last significant coefficient enabled flag, that indicates whether a slice header (SH) reversed coordinates of last significant coefficient flag is present in slice header syntax structure referring to the SPS; and
receiving, by the decoder, a general constraint information (GCI) reversed coordinates of last significant coefficient enabled flag in GCI syntax, wherein the GCI reversed coordinates of last significant coefficient enabled flag is used to provide general control of the SPS reversed coordinates of last significant coefficient enabled flag.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The method for video decoding of claim 1, further comprising:
in response to determining that a value of the SPS reversed coordinates of the last significant coefficient enabled flag equals to 1, determining, by the decoder, that the SH reversed coordinates of the last significant coefficient flag is present in the slice header syntax structure referring to the SPS; and
in response to determining that the value of the SPS reversed coordinates of the last significant coefficient enabled flag equals to 0, determining, by the decoder, that the SH reversed coordinates of the last significant coefficient flag is not present in the slice header syntax structure referring to the SPS.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The method for video decoding of claim 1, further comprising:
in response to determining that a value of the GCI reversed coordinates of the last significant coefficient enabled flag equals to 1, determining that a value of the SPS reversed coordinates of the last significant coefficient enabled flag equals to 0.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The method for video decoding of claim 1, wherein a bit depth of video data is 11.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The method for video decoding of claim 1, wherein a bit depth of video data is 9.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

An apparatus for video decoding, comprising:
one or more processors; and
a memory configured to store instructions executable by the one or more processors;
wherein the one or more processors, upon execution of the instructions, are configured to perform the method for video decoding of claim 1.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium for video decoding storing computer-executable instructions that, when executed by one or more computer processors, cause the one or more computer processors to store a bitstream and to perform the method for video decoding of claim 1 with the bitstream.

### Claim 8 (depends on 7)

The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 7, wherein the operations further comprise:
in response to determining that a value of the SPS reversed coordinates of the last significant coefficient enabled flag equals to 1, determining, by the decoder, that the SH reversed coordinates of the last significant coefficient flag is present in the slice header syntax structure referring to the SPS; and
in response to determining that the value of the SPS reversed coordinates of the last significant coefficient enabled flag equals to 0, determining, by the decoder, that the SH reversed coordinates of the last significant coefficient flag is not present in the slice header syntax structure referring to the SPS.

### Claim 9 (depends on 7)

The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 7, wherein the operations further comprise:
in response to determining that a value of the GCI reversed coordinates of the last significant coefficient enabled flag equals to 1, determining that a value of the SPS reversed coordinates of the last significant coefficient enabled flag equals to 0.

### Claim 10 (depends on 7)

The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 7, wherein a bit depth of video data is 11.

### Claim 11 (depends on 7)

The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 7, wherein a bit depth of video data is 12.

### Claim 12

A method of storing a bitstream, comprising:
performing an encoding method to generate a bitstream; and
