Abstract
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a solution for video processing. A method for video processing is proposed. The method comprises: refining, during a conversion between a target block of a video and a bitstream of the target block, a bi-motion vector predictor (MVP) of the target block by applying a decoder side motion vector derivation process, and wherein the target block is coded with an advanced motion vector prediction (AMVP) mode; and performing the conversion based on the refined bi-MVP.
Claims19
A method of video processing, comprising:
- refining, during a conversion between a target block of a video and a bitstream of the video, a bi-motion vector predictor (MVP) of the target block by applying a decoder side motion vector derivation process before a motion vector difference is added, and wherein the target block is coded with an advanced motion vector prediction (AMVP) mode;
- and
- performing the conversion based on the refined bi-MVP.
An apparatus for processing video data comprising a processor and a non-transitory memory with instructions thereon, wherein the instructions upon execution by the processor, cause the processor to:
- refine, during a conversion between a target block of a video and a bitstream of the video, a bi-motion vector predictor (MVP) of the target block by applying a decoder side motion vector derivation process before a motion vector difference is added, and wherein the target block is coded with an advanced motion vector prediction (AMVP) mode;
- and
- perform the conversion based on the refined bi-MVP.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing instructions that cause a processor to:
- refine, during a conversion between a target block of a video and a bitstream of the video, a bi-motion vector predictor (MVP) of the target block by applying a decoder side motion vector derivation process before a motion vector difference is added, and wherein the target block is coded with an advanced motion vector prediction (AMVP) mode;
- and
- perform the conversion based on the refined bi-MVP.
A method for storing bitstream of a video, comprising:
- refining a bi-motion vector predictor (MVP) of a target block of the video by applying a de-coder side motion vector derivation process before a motion vector difference is added, and wherein the target block is coded with an advanced motion vector prediction (AMVP) mode;
- generating a bitstream of the target block based on the refined bi-MVP;
- and
- storing the bitstream in a non-transitory computer-readable recording medium.
