Improving confidence of network analytics using a digital twin

A network equipment (NE), comprising:

• at least one memory;
• and
• at least one processor coupled with the at least one memory and configured to cause the NE to:
• receive a request for analytics associated with a wireless communication network, the request comprising a threshold minimum confidence level for the analytics and a time period for delivering the analytics;
• in response to determining, based on data collected based on a set of physical network resources, that the threshold minimum confidence level cannot be met within the time period, determine a set of additional data to use for satisfying the threshold minimum confidence level, the set of additional data corresponding to one or more physical network resources of the set of physical network resources;
• determine that the set of additional data is obtainable from at least one digital twin instance configured to simulate the one or more physical network resources;
• receive the set of additional data from the at least one digital twin instance in response to transmitting, to the at least one digital twin instance, a request for the set of additional data from the at least one digital twin instance;
• and
• deliver the analytics at the time period in response to the analytics, derived based on the set of additional data from the at least one digital twin instance, satisfying the threshold minimum confidence level.
