Abstract
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a mobile station may receive a medium access control (MAC) control element (MAC CE) indicating a MAC CE configuration associated with a sounding reference signal (SRS) resource. The mobile station may receive downlink control information (DCI) indicating a DCI configuration associated with the SRS resource. The mobile station may selectively transmit SRS information associated with the SRS resource based at least in part on a time of receipt of the MAC CE. Numerous other aspects are provided.
Claims44
A method of wireless communication performed by a mobile station, comprising:
- receiving, by the mobile station, a medium access control (MAC) control element (MAC CE) indicating a MAC CE configuration that includes first information to activate or deactivate a sounding reference signal (SRS) resource;
- receiving, by the mobile station, downlink control information (DCI) indicating a DCI configuration that includes second information to activate or deactivate the SRS resource;
- determining that the SRS resource is activated or deactivated based at least in part on:
- a first time interval between a time of receipt of the MAC CE and the SRS resource, or
- a second time interval between the time of receipt of the MAC CE and a time of receipt of the DCI;
- and
- transmitting or canceling transmission of an SRS associated with the SRS resource in accordance with the determination.
A mobile station for wireless communication, comprising:
- a memory;
- and
- one or more processors coupled to the memory, the one or more processors configured to:
- receive a medium access control (MAC) control element (MAC CE) indicating a MAC CE configuration that includes first information to activate or deactivate a sounding reference signal (SRS) resource;
- receive downlink control information (DCI) indicating a DCI configuration that includes second information to activate or deactivate the SRS resource;
- determine that the SRS resource is activated or deactivated based at least in part on:
- a first time interval between a time of receipt of the MAC CE and the SRS resource, or
- a second time interval between the time of receipt of the MAC CE and a time of receipt of the DCI;
- and
- transmit or cancel transmission of an SRS associated with the SRS resource in accordance with the determination.
