Abstract
A rotating electric machine system is equipped with a rotating electric machine including a rotating shaft and a permanent magnet, and a housing in which the rotating electric machine is accommodated. A bearing is interposed between the housing and the rotating shaft. The bearing is retained by a hollow tubular shaped bearing holder. The bearing holder includes a cover member that covers the bearing from an outer side in a diametrical direction of the rotating shaft. An insulating element is interposed between an outer circumferential surface of the bearing and an inner circumferential surface of the cover member.
Claims7
A rotating electric machine system equipped with a rotating electric machine including a rotating shaft and a permanent magnet, and a housing in which the rotating electric machine is accommodated, the rotating electric machine system comprising:
- a bearing interposed between the housing and the rotating shaft;
- an oil supplying device configured to supply a lubricating oil to the bearing;
- and
- a bearing holder provided in the housing and having a hollow tubular shape, the bearing holder being configured to retain the bearing,
- wherein the bearing holder includes a cover member configured to cover the bearing from an outer side in a diametrical direction of the rotating shaft,
- the rotating electric machine system further comprises an insulating element interposed between an outer circumferential surface of the bearing and an inner circumferential surface of the cover member,
- a circumferential wall portion of the bearing holder includes a flow-through hole through which the lubricating oil supplied to the bearing flows,
- the cover member includes:
- an annular shaped groove that is recessed from an inner circumferential surface toward an outer circumferential surface of the cover member, and
- a plurality of oil supply holes that are provided at the annular shaped groove, communicate between the inner circumferential surface and the outer circumferential surface of the cover member, are arranged radially, and through which lubricating oil that is supplied to the bearing flows, and
- the insulating element includes a first insulating element and a second insulating element formed on the inner circumferential surface of the cover member, and the first insulating element and the second insulating element are separated from each other via the annular shaped groove in an axial direction of the rotating shaft.
