Intelligent control of paired applications

A system comprising:

• one or more processing systems;
• and
• one or more computer readable media storing instructions which, when executed by the one or more processing systems, cause the system to perform operations comprising:
• receiving a first registration request message from a first client application executing on a first client device, the first registration request message including information that at least identifies the first client device and capabilities of the first client device;
• receiving a second registration request message from a second client application executing on a second client device, the second registration request message including information that at least identifies the second client device and capabilities of the second client device;
• pairing the first client application with the second client application upon registering the first client device and the second client device with a computing resource;
• receiving, from the first client device in response to an end user interaction with the first client application, an identification of a state of the first client application and a task request message corresponding to a task to be performed by the computing resource;
• synchronizing a state of the second client application with the state of the first client application;
• determining a context associated with the task request message;
• routing, based at least in part on the context associated with the task request message, the task request message to a selected task flow of a plurality of task flows associated with the computing resource, wherein the selected task flow is configured to dynamically select a set of configuration parameters to provide to the first client device, the second client device, or a combination of the first client device and the second client device based on a comparison of the context of the task request message to the capabilities of the first client device and the capabilities of the second client device, wherein the set of configuration parameters define a first technical format of a first graphical user interface optimized for the capabilities of the first client device, define a second technical format of a second graphical user interface optimized for the capabilities of the second client device, or a combination of the first technical format and the second technical format;
• receiving a response message from the computing resource, the response message generated by the computing resource in response to the task being executed by processing steps of the task by the selected task flow, the response message defining a layout of a graphical user interface of a payload content based on the set of configuration parameters, wherein the layout is configured to automatically apply an effect of a user interaction with the first client device to the second client application, an effect of a user interaction with the second client device to the first client application, or a combination thereof;
• and
• providing the response message to one or both of the first client device and the second client device, wherein providing the response message to one or both of the first client device and the second client device causes the payload content of the response message to be displayed on a display of the first client device via the first graphical user interface, a display of the second client device via the second graphical user interface, or a combination thereof, according to the layout.

One or more non-transitory computer-readable media storing instructions which, when executed by one or more processors, cause a system to perform operations comprising:

• receiving a first registration request message from a first client application executing on a first client device, the first registration request message including information that at least identifies the first client device and capabilities of the first client device;
• receiving a second registration request message from a second client application executing on a second client device, the second registration request message including information that at least identifies the second client device and capabilities of the second client device;
• pairing the first client application with the second client application upon registering the first client device and the second client device with a computing resource;
• receiving, from the first client device in response to an end user interaction with the first client application, an identification of a state of the first client application and a task request message corresponding to a task to be performed by the computing resource;
• synchronizing a state of the second client application with the state of the first client application;
• determining a context associated with the task request message;
• routing, based at least in part on the context associated with the task request message, the task request message to a selected task flow of a plurality of task flows associated with the computing resource, wherein the selected task flow is configured to dynamically select a set of configuration parameters to provide to the first client device, the second client device, or a combination of the first client device and the second client device based on a comparison of the context of the task request message to the capabilities of the first client device and the capabilities of the second client device, wherein the set of configuration parameters define a first technical format of a first graphical user interface optimized for the capabilities of the first client device, define a second technical format of a second graphical user interface optimized for the capabilities of the second client device, or a combination of the first technical format and the second technical format;
• receiving a response message from the computing resource, the response message generated by the computing resource in response to the task being executed by processing steps of the task by the selected task flow, the response message defining a layout of a graphical user interface of a payload content based on the set of configuration parameters, wherein the layout is configured to automatically apply an effect of a user interaction with the first client device to the second client application, an effect of a user interaction with the second client device to the first client application, or a combination thereof;
• and
• providing the response message to one or both of the first client device and the second client device, wherein providing the response message to one or both of the first client device and the second client device causes the payload content of the response message to be displayed on a display of the first client device via the first graphical user interface, a display of the second client device via the second graphical user interface, or a combination thereof, according to the layout.
