Intelligent electronic pull-tab system and method

A pull-tab gaming system comprising:

• a network component that includes a ticket generation component, which generates a finite set of electronic pull-tab tickets, each ticket having a ticket identifier, an award value, and an identifying code associated with a ticket game theme, a ticket wager amount, and a ticket award value;
• a rendering module associated with the network system, the rendering module including a database of graphical renderings, in which each graphical rendering is associated with the ticket game theme, the ticket award value, and a hardware profile;
• the rendering module associating the identifying code of the ticket with one or more graphical renderings corresponding to a plurality of hardware profiles;
• a plurality of gaming devices, in which each gaming device includes a hardware profile, a rendering module, and a rendering database that includes graphical renderings associated with identifying codes and hardware profiles;
• wherein a first gaming device having a first hardware profile receives an electronic pull-tab ticket and its identifying code;
• wherein the first gaming device rendering module selects a graphical rendering associated with the identifying code and the first hardware profile from the first gaming device rendering database, and displays the selected graphical rendering that includes the award value;
• wherein a second gaming device having a second, different hardware profile receives an electronic pull-tab ticket with the same identifying code;
• and
• wherein the second gaming device rendering module selects a different graphical rendering associated with the identifying code and the second hardware profile from the second device rendering database, and displays the different graphical rendering and award value.
