A method for operating a medical image processing apparatus, the method comprising:

• a step of acquiring a medical image including an image of a subject;
• a step of performing, based on the medical image, an image recognition process using an image recognizing learning model constructed by performing training using machine learning algorithm;
• a step of performing control to display the medical image and a result of the image recognition process on a display;
• a step of performing, based on the medical image, an inappropriate region detection process of detecting an inappropriate region which is a region inappropriate for the image recognition process using an inappropriate region detecting learning model constructed by performing training using a machine learning algorithm;
• a step of performing, based on the medical image, an inappropriate factor identification process of identifying an inappropriate factor in which the inappropriate region is inappropriate for the image recognition process, using an inappropriate factor identifying learning model constructed by performing training using a machine learning algorithm,
• wherein the inappropriate factor is a correct diagnosis rate being lower than or equal to a preset value, and
• wherein the correct diagnosis rate, being calculated based on a degree of agreement between the result of the image recognition process and a diagnosis made by a doctor, is lower than or equal to a preset threshold value;
• and
• a step of performing, based on an identification result of the inappropriate factor identification process, control to report the identification result,
• wherein the detection result is reported by at least one of the following:
• an image displayed on the display;
• vibration generated by a vibration generator;
• or
• sound generated by a sound generator.

A non-transitory computer readable medium for storing a computer-executable program,

• the computer-executable program causing a computer to execute:
• a process of acquiring a medical image including an image of a subject;
• a process of performing, based on the medical image, an image recognition process using an image recognizing learning model constructed by performing training using a machine learning algorithm;
• a process of performing control to display the medical image and a result of the image recognition process on a display;
• a process of performing, based on the medical image, an inappropriate region detection process of detecting an inappropriate region which is a region inappropriate for the image recognition process using an inappropriate region detecting learning model constructed by performing training using a machine learning algorithm;
• a process of performing, based on the medical image, an inappropriate factor identification process of identifying an inappropriate factor in which the inappropriate region is inappropriate for the image recognition process, using an inappropriate factor identifying learning model constructed by performing training using a machine learning algorithm,
• wherein the inappropriate factor is a correct diagnosis rate being lower than or equal to a preset value, and
• wherein the correct diagnosis rate, being calculated based on a degree of agreement between the result of the image recognition process and a diagnosis made by a doctor, is lower than or equal to a preset threshold value;
• and
• a process of performing, based on an identification result of the inappropriate factor identification process, control to report the identification result,
• wherein the detection result is reported by at least one of the following:
• an image displayed on the display;
• vibration generated by a vibration generator;
• or
• sound generated by a sound generator.
