Abstract
Methods, systems, and devices for data management are described. A user account may be generated at a first computing system that is managed by an operator and separate from a second computing system that is managed by a customer of the operator. The user account may provide a user of the customer access to an instance of an application running at the first computing system for the customer. Based on a request from the user of the customer for support with the instance of the application, a second user account for the customer may be enabled. The second user account may provide a user of the operator temporary access to the instance of application.
Claims19
A method, comprising:
- generating, at a first computing system that is managed by an operator and separate from a second computing system that is managed by a customer of the operator, a first user account for the customer that provides a user of the customer access to an instance of an application running at the first computing system for the customer;
- enabling, based at least in part on a request from the user of the customer for support with the instance of the application running for the customer, a second user account for the customer that provides a user of the operator access to the instance of the application;
- providing, based at least in part on enabling the second user account, the user of the operator temporary access to the instance of the application via the second user account;
- receiving, based at least in part on providing the user of the operator temporary access to the instance of the application via the second user account, one or more requests from the user of the operator, the one or more requests comprising a token associated with accessing the second user account;
- categorizing, based at least in part on the token, the one or more requests as support impersonation requests;
- and
- sending, based at least in part on categorizing the one or more requests as support impersonation requests, one or more responses to the one or more requests as though the one or more requests originated from the first user account.
An apparatus, comprising:
- one or more memories;
- and
- one or more processors, wherein the one or more memories store code comprising instructions executable, individually or collectively, by the one or more processors to cause the apparatus to:
- generate, at a first computing system that is managed by an operator and separate from a second computing system that is managed by a customer of the operator, a first user account for the customer that provides a user of the customer access to an instance of an application running at the first computing system for the customer;
- enable, based at least in part on a request from the user of the customer for support with the instance of the application running for the customer, a second user account for the customer that provides a user of the operator access to the instance of the application;
- provide, based at least in part on enabling the second user account, the user of the operator temporary access to the instance of the application via the second user account;
- receive, based at least in part on providing the user of the operator temporary access to the instance of the application via the second user account, one or more requests from the user of the operator, the one or more requests comprising a token associated with accessing the second user account;
- categorize, based at least in part on the token, the one or more requests as support impersonation requests;
- and
- send, based at least in part on categorizing the one or more requests as support impersonation requests, one or more responses to the one or more requests as though the one or more requests originated from the first user account.
A non-transitory, computer readable medium storing code that comprises instructions that are executable, individually or collectively, by one or more processors of a device to cause the device to:
- generate, at a first computing system that is managed by an operator and separate from a second computing system that is managed by a customer of the operator, a first user account for the customer that provides a user of the customer access to an instance of an application running at the first computing system for the customer;
- enable, based at least in part on a request from the user of the customer for support with the instance of the application running for the customer, a second user account for the customer that provides a user of the operator access to the instance of the application;
- provide, based at least in part on enabling the second user account, the user of the operator temporary access to the instance of the application via the second user account;
- receive, based at least in part on providing the user of the operator temporary access to the instance of the application via the second user account, one or more requests from the user of the operator, the one or more requests comprising a token associated with accessing the second user account;
- categorize, based at least in part on the token, the one or more requests as support impersonation requests;
- and
- send, based at least in part on categorizing the one or more requests as support impersonation requests, one or more responses to the one or more requests as though the one or more requests originated from the first user account.
