A computer based artificial intelligence learning process using input recognition through analogical reasoning algorithm (IRTARA), the process including selecting at least one process setting. Providing at least one input to a data classification. Processing with at least one creation of class name and word vectors to provide input to an application of analogical reasoning & knowledge extraction. The application of analogical reasoning & knowledge extraction process supporting both improved data classification; and an evaluation process. The Input Recognition Through Analogical Reasoning Algorithm (IRTARA) approach described herein shows how Analogical Reasoning can be leveraged to improve input data recognition in out-of-library situations. IRTARA produces a word-based term frequency list that characterizes the out-of-library object of interest. To evaluate the quality of the results of IRTARA, both quantitative and qualitative assessments are used, including a baseline to compare the automated methods with human-generated results.
