Abstract
According to an embodiment, a wireless tag communication system includes a processing apparatus, a tag communication device, and a controller. The processing apparatus includes a conveyance device that conveys a sheet provided with a wireless tag. The tag communication device performs detection processing of the wireless tag of the sheet conveyed and writing processing of information on the wireless tag. The controller causes the tag communication device to execute the writing processing after the conveyance device has started to convey the sheet and a predetermined waiting time has elapsed.
Claims13
A wireless tag communication system, comprising:
- a processing apparatus including a conveyance device that conveys a sheet provided with a wireless tag along a conveyance path in a conveyance direction;
- a tag communication device that performs detection processing of the wireless tag of the sheet conveyed by the conveyance device of the processing apparatus and writing processing of information on the wireless tag at a tag writing processing area included in the conveyance path;
- and
- a controller that causes the tag communication device to execute the writing processing after the conveyance device has started to convey the sheet and a predetermined waiting time has elapsed,
- wherein the conveyance path includes a non-communication area upstream of the tag writing processing area in the conveyance direction, and a wireless communication with the tag communication device for writing processing cannot be performed in the non-communication area.
An image forming apparatus comprising:
- a processing apparatus including a conveyance device that conveys a sheet provided with a wireless tag along a conveyance path in a conveyance direction and forming an image on the sheet;
- and
- a wireless tag communication apparatus that communicates with the wireless tag of the sheet, and wherein the wireless tag communication apparatus includes
- a tag communication device that performs detection processing of the wireless tag of the sheet conveyed by the conveyance device of the processing apparatus and writing processing of information on the wireless tag at a tag writing processing area included in the conveyance path, and
- a controller that causes the tag communication device to execute the writing processing after the conveyance device has started to convey the sheet and a predetermined waiting time has elapsed,
- wherein the conveyance path includes a non-communication area upstream of the tag writing processing area in the conveyance direction, and a wireless communication with the tag communication device for writing processing cannot be performed in the non-communication area.
A wireless tag communication system, comprising:
- a processing apparatus including a conveyance device that conveys a sheet provided with a wireless tag;
- a tag communication device that performs detection processing of the wireless tag of the sheet conveyed by the conveyance device of the processing apparatus and writing processing of information on the wireless tag;
- and
- a controller that causes the tag communication device to repeatedly execute the detection processing after the conveyance device has started to convey the sheet and causes the tag communication device to execute the writing processing in a case where the identical wireless tag has been consecutively detected a predetermined number of times.
