Facilitating analysis of software vulnerabilities

An apparatus, comprising:

• one or more processors;
• and
• one or more memories storing instructions that are executable, individually or collectively, by the one or more processors to cause the apparatus to:
• present, over a network, a first user interface comprising user interface elements indicating a plurality of software vulnerabilities for a virtual machine, wherein the user interface elements comprise a user interface element for presenting one or more recovery point identifiers associated with a software vulnerability of the plurality of software vulnerabilities, wherein the user interface element for presenting one or more recovery point identifiers associated with the software vulnerability also indicates a start date of the software vulnerability at the virtual machine;
• receive, over the network, a selection of the user interface element for presenting one or more recovery point identifiers associated with the software vulnerability;
• identify, in a database and based at least in part on receiving the selection of the software vulnerability, at least two snapshot images for the virtual machine that include the software vulnerability;
• and
• present, over the network in response to the selection of the user interface element and based at least in part on the identifying and the start date of the software vulnerability, a second user interface including at least two recovery point identifiers corresponding to the at least two snapshot images for the virtual machine that include the software vulnerability.

A non-transitory, computer-readable medium that stores code comprising instructions that are executable, individually or collectively, by one or more processors of an electronic device to cause the electronic device to:

• present, over a network, a first user interface comprising user interface elements indicating a plurality of software vulnerabilities for a virtual machine, wherein the user interface elements comprise a user interface element for presenting one or more recovery point identifiers associated with a software vulnerability of the plurality of software vulnerabilities, wherein the user interface element for presenting one or more recovery point identifiers associated with the software vulnerability also indicates a start date of the software vulnerability at the virtual machine;
• receive, over the network, a selection of the user interface element for presenting one or more recovery point identifiers associated with the software vulnerability;
• identify, in a database and based at least in part on receiving the selection of the software vulnerability, at least two snapshot images for the virtual machine that include the software vulnerability;
• and
• present, over the network in response to the selection of the user interface element and based at least in part on the identifying and the start date of the software vulnerability, a second user interface including at least two recovery point identifiers corresponding to the at least two snapshot images for the virtual machine that include the software vulnerability.
