Abstract
Methods, systems, products, services, and apparatuses for presenting domain-specific code suggestions for computer program code, comprising receiving a request to generate computer program code that is associated with a domain-specific code base; and presenting a code suggestion using a user interface, wherein the user interface is configured to manage one or more user interface inputs and outputs associated with the domain-specific code base.
Claims20
A method of presenting domain-specific code suggestions for computer program code, the method comprising:
- receiving a request to generate computer program code that is associated with a domain-specific code base;
- presenting a user interface comprising a first window displaying a target computer program code;
- generating a code suggestion based on the domain-specific code base and the target computer program code;
- presenting the code suggestion via a second window of the user interface, the code suggestion comprising a section of computer code;
- executing the section of computer code of the code suggestion presented in the second window separately from the target computer program code and prior to incorporating the code suggestion in the target computer program code;
- and
- in response to determining that the execution of the section of computer code is satisfactory, incorporating the section of computer code into the target computer program code in the first window.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium, having instructions stored thereon that, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to:
- receive a request related to computer program code that is associate with a domain-specific code base;
- present a user interface comprising a first window displaying a target computer program code;
- generate a code suggestion based on the domain-specific code base and the target computer program code;
- present the code suggestion via a second window of the user interface, the code suggestion comprising a section of computer code;
- execute the section of computer code of the code suggestion presented in the second window separately from the target program code and prior to incorporating the code suggestion in the target computer program code;
- and
- in response to determining that the execution of the section of computer code is satisfactory, incorporate the section of computer code into the target computer program code in the first window.
A system comprising:
- a memory;
- and
- a processing device, operatively coupled to the memory, the processing device configured to:
- receive, via a user interface, a request related to computer program code that is associated with a domain-specific code base;
- present a user interface comprising a first window displaying a target computer program code;
- generate a code suggestion based on the domain-specific code base and the target computer program code;
- present the code suggestion via a second window of the user interface, the code suggestion comprising a section of computer code;
- execute the section of computer code of the code suggestion presented in the second window separately from the target program code and prior to incorporating the code suggestion in the target computer program code;
- and
- in response to determining that the execution of the section of computer code is satisfactory, incorporate the section of computer code into the target computer program code in the first window.
A method of presenting domain-specific code suggestions, the method comprising:
- generating a domain-specific code suggestion using a code generation model that can access information describing a domain-specific code base, wherein a user interface is configured to present a first window including target computer program code;
- causing the user interface to present the code suggestion via a second window, the code suggestion comprising a section of computer code;
- execute the section of computer code of the code suggestion presented in the second window separately from the target program code and prior to incorporating the code suggestion in the target computer program code;
- and
- in response to determining that the execution of the section of computer code is satisfactory, incorporate the section of computer code into the target computer program code in the first window.
