A network-based system for providing a visual consciousness affect representation, said network-based system comprising:
- a processor for executing code;
- memory, coupled to said processor, for storing code to be executed by said processor;
- at least one interface, coupled to said processor, operable to provide a communication link from said processor to one or more client devices and that is used for transmitting and/or receiving information;
- and
- wherein said processor performs operations of:
- receiving, from said memory, one or more shares originating from one or more users and posted on a website and/or a client device application presented on one or more client devices, each of said shares contains one or more submissions, each of said submissions comprising a consciousness input;
- receiving, from said memory, a non-biological input not originating from one or more of said users and said non-biological input originating from a device or a module;
- extracting, from each consciousness input and said non-biological input, one or more categories of each of one or more consciousness input types to generate a list identifying one or more extracted categories;
- calculating, using a client module on said client device and/or a server module and using one or more of said shares and said non-biological input and an age of each of said shares and non-biological input, a dominant category of one or more of said shares and said non-biological input, wherein said dominant category corresponds to a category of one or more of said extracted categories having a highest total contribution value, said calculating includes:
- assigning, based on said age of said consciousness input, a first contribution value to said consciousness input and assigning, based on said age of said non-biological input, a second contribution value to said non-biological input;
- determining, for each of said consciousness input and said non-biological input, a category contribution value, which represents a contribution of said consciousness input and a first intensity information, or contribution of said non-biological input and a second intensity information, to each said extracted category present in said list, and wherein said category contribution value equals a product of a predetermined value assigned to each of said extracted categories and said first contribution value or said second contribution value;
- adding each category contribution value to arrive at a total contribution value for each said category present in said list;
- identifying said highest total contribution value of any of said categories from said list as said dominant category of said consciousness input and said non-biological input;
- determining, based on one or more of said shares and said non-biological input, an intensity of said dominant category of one or more of said shares and said non-biological input;
- storing, in said memory, said dominant category of one or more of said shares and said non-biological input and said intensity of said dominant category
- conveying said dominant category of one or more of said shares and said intensity of said dominant category from said client device and/or said server to said website and/or said client device application presented on a plurality of said client devices;
- and
- visually presenting, on a display interface of said plurality of client devices, one or more of said shares and said visual consciousness affect representation corresponding to one or more of said shares, wherein said consciousness affect representation appears adjacent to one or more of said shares, wherein said consciousness affect representation is based on said dominant category of one or more of said shares posted on said website and/or said client device application and said non-biological input, wherein said visual consciousness affect is chosen from a group comprising color, weather pattern, image, and animation, and wherein said visual consciousness affect representation is of a predetermined size, such that said predetermined size depends upon said calculated value obtained from said determining said intensity of said dominant category.
