Applying system controlling a timing between drying and application processes of applied materials

An applying support method that is performed by an applying system including an applying apparatus, a drying apparatus, and a display, the method comprising:

• sensing that a nail is placed in the drying apparatus;
• drying, with the drying apparatus, a first applying material applied on a surface of the nail by the applying apparatus;
• counting, from a timing at which it is sensed in the sensing that the nail is placed in the drying apparatus, an elapsed time of a drying operation started in the drying apparatus;
• in response to the elapsed time exceeding a predetermined set time, switching a guidance display displayed on the display to a guidance display which guides a user to apply the second applying material;
• and
• applying, with the applying apparatus, a second applying material on the surface of the nail with the first applying material dried by the drying apparatus in between,
• wherein:
• the drying apparatus and the applying apparatus are provided as separate devices which are communicably connected to each other,
• the drying apparatus transmits a first sensing signal to the applying apparatus in response to sensing that the nail is placed in the drying apparatus, and
• in response to receiving the first sensing signal, the applying apparatus (i) transmits a drying start instruction to the drying apparatus instructing start of the drying operation and (ii) starts a timer for counting the elapsed time.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium having a program stored thereon for controlling a computer in an applying system provided with a drying apparatus, an applying apparatus, and a display, the program controlling the computer to perform processes comprising:

• sensing that a nail is placed in the drying apparatus;
• counting, from a timing at which it is sensed in the sensing that the nail is placed in the drying apparatus, an elapsed time of a drying operation started in the drying apparatus with respect to a first applying material applied on a surface of the nail;
• and
• in response to the elapsed time exceeding a predetermined set time, switching a guidance display displayed on the display to a guidance display which guides a user to apply a second applying material on the surface of the nail by the applying apparatus,
• wherein:
• the drying apparatus and the applying apparatus are provided as separate devices which are communicably connected to each other,
• the drying apparatus transmits a first sensing signal to the applying apparatus in response to sensing that the nail is placed in the drying apparatus, and
• in response to receiving the first sensing signal, the applying apparatus (i) transmits a drying start instruction to the drying apparatus instructing start of the drying operation and (ii) starts a timer for counting the elapsed time.
