Abstract
A first voltage value is determined using a comparator operating based on a first hysteresis value. A second voltage value is determined using the comparator operating based on a second hysteresis value and in dependence on the first voltage value. One or more indications of at least one of the first voltage value and the second voltage value are provided.
Claims20
A method, comprising:
- determining a first voltage value using a comparator operating based on a first hysteresis value;
- determining a second voltage value using the comparator operating based on a second hysteresis value and in dependence on the first voltage value;
- and
- providing one or more indications of at least one of the first voltage value and the second voltage value.
A non-transitory computer readable medium comprising stored instructions, which when executed by a processor, cause the processor to generate a digital representation of a circuit, wherein the circuit:
- performs a calibration with respect to measuring a voltage using a comparator according to a first hysteresis value to determine a first analog reference voltage;
- performs a calibration with respect to measuring a voltage using the comparator according to a second hysteresis value to determine a second analog reference voltage;
- and
- provides one or more indications of at least one of (1) results of the calibration that determines the first analog reference voltage and (2) results of the calibration that determines the second analog reference voltage.
A system comprising:
- a comparator that provides a comparator output based on a hysteresis input;
- an analog selector that selectively provides, as the hysteresis input, one of (1) a first hysteresis value and (2) a second hysteresis value;
- a successive approximation register that receives the comparator output;
- and
- control circuitry,
- wherein the control circuitry controls the analog selector to selectively provide, to the comparator, one of (1) the first hysteresis value and (2) the second hysteresis value, and
- wherein the control circuitry further controls the successive approximation register (1) to perform a calibration that is in dependence on the comparator receiving the first hysteresis value and (2) to perform a calibration that is in dependence on the comparator receiving the second hysteresis value.
