Abstract
An archery bow includes a riser, a limb, an axle, and a cam assembly. The cam assembly can include a rotatable member and one or more bearings. The rotatable member can be laterally repositionable or laterally translatable to one of a plurality of positions relative to the one or more bearings. In some examples, the one or more bearings can be disposed within a bearing carriage assembly and the rotatable member can be laterally repositionable or laterally translatable to one of a plurality of positions relative to the bearing carriage assembly.
Claims16
An archery bow, comprising:
- a riser;
- a limb;
- an axle coupled to the limb, the axle defining an axis;
- and
- a cam assembly rotatably coupled to the axle, comprising:
- a rotatable member having a bore;
- and
- a bearing disposed within the bore, wherein the rotatable member is configured to translate relative to the bearing to one of a plurality of positions, the plurality of positions extending along the axis.
An archery bow comprising:
- a riser;
- a limb;
- an axle coupled to the limb, the axle defining an axis;
- and
- a cam assembly rotatably coupled to the axle, comprising:
- a rotatable member having a bore;
- a bearing carriage disposed within the bore, the bearing disposed within the bearing carriage;
- and
- a bearing disposed within the bearing carriage, wherein:
- the rotatable member is configured to translate relative to the bearing to one of a plurality of positions, the plurality of positions extending along the axis;
- and
- the rotatable member is configured to translate relative to the bearing carriage to one of the plurality of positions.
An archery bow, comprising:
- a riser;
- a first limb;
- a second limb;
- an axle coupled to the first limb, the axle defining an axis of rotation;
- and
- a cam assembly rotatably coupled to the axle, comprising:
- a bearing coupled to the axle and disposed between the first limb and the second limb;
- a rotatable member having a bore, wherein the rotatable member is configured to translate along the axis of rotation while the bearing is configured to remain in a static lateral position relative to the axle.
