## Abstract

A drying device includes a recessed portion into which a suction nozzle is inserted, an air jetting port that is formed on a bottom surface of the recessed portion, and a control device that jets air from the jetting port toward a suction nozzle inserted into the recessed portion.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A drying device comprising:
a housing having an upper surface and a lower surface;
a recessed portion extending from the upper surface to a region within the housing into which a suction nozzle is inserted, the recessed portion having a bottom surface positioned within the housing and between the upper surface and lower surface;
an air jetting port that is formed in the bottom surface of the recessed portion; and
a control device that jets air from the jetting port toward a suction nozzle inserted into the recessed portion,
wherein the suction nozzle has a flange portion, and
wherein an inner diameter of the recessed portion is smaller than an outer shape of the flange portion of the suction nozzle inserted into the recessed portion.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The drying device according to claim 1, wherein
the drying device includes multiple recessed portions having different inner diameters, and
depths of the multiple recessed portions differ according to the inner diameters.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The drying device according to claim 1, wherein
the suction nozzle is configured to expand and contract, and
the control device jets the air from the jetting port toward a nozzle of the suction nozzle inserted into the recessed portion.

### Claim 4

A nozzle drying method comprising:
inserting a suction nozzle into a recessed portion of a housing; and
drying the suction nozzle that has been inserted into the recessed portion by jetting air from a port located at a bottom surface of the recessed portion to the suction nozzle,
wherein the housing includes an upper surface and a lower surface,
wherein the recessed portion extends from the upper surface to a region within the housing into which the suction nozzle is inserted, and
wherein the bottom surface of the recessed portion is positioned within the housing and between the upper surface and lower surface
wherein the suction nozzle has a flange portion, and
wherein an inner diameter of the recessed portion is smaller than an outer shape of the flange portion of the suction nozzle inserted into the recessed portion.

### Claim 5 (depends on 4)

The nozzle drying method according to claim 4, wherein
the air is jetted from the bottom surface of the recessed portion to the suction nozzle inserted into the recessed portion at a position where a distance between a tip of the suction nozzle inserted into the recessed portion and the bottom surface of the recessed portion is equal to or less than 5 mm.
