Abstract
The present disclosure provides a composition for dewatering a hydrocarbon feed, the composition comprising: a) at least two alkyl poly-ethoxy alcohol; and b) at least one non-ionic surfactant, wherein the at least two alkyl poly-ethoxy alcohol to the at least one non-ionic surfactant weight ratio is in the range of 0.75:1.5 to 1.5:3.0.

A composition for dewatering a hydrocarbon feed, the composition comprising:
- a) at least two alkyl poly-ethoxy alcohol;
- and
- b) at least one non-ionic surfactant,
- wherein the at least two alkyl poly-ethoxy alcohol to the at least one non-ionic surfactant weight ratio is in the range of 0.75:1.5 to 1.5:3.0;
- wherein the at least two alkyl poly-ethoxy alcohol is selected from the group consisting of polysorbate 20, polysorbate 40, polysorbate 80, polyethylene glycol 200, polyethylene glycol 400, and polyethylene glycol 1500, and
- wherein the at least one non-ionic surfactant is selected from triton X, octyl phenol alkoxylate, nonylphenol ethoxylate, and tergitol.
