Disclosed are salts of N-Cyclopentyl-5-(2-((5-((4-ethylpiperazin-1-yl)methyl)pyridin-2-yl)amino)-5-fluoropyrimidin-4-yl)-4-methylthiazol-2-amine and polymorphs thereof, which are inhibitors of protein kinases, in particular cyclin-dependent kinase 4/6 (CDK4/6), and can be used to treat proliferative disorders, such as cancer, and other diseases related to protein kinase/CDK activity. The disclosure includes the succinate salt of N-cyclopentyl-5-(2-((5-((4-ethylpiperazin-1-yl)methyl)pyridin-2-yl)amino)-5-fluoropyrimidin-4-yl)-4-methylthiazol-2-amine, Crystal Form A of the succinate salt, a pharmaceutical formulation comprising the succinate salt, and use of the succinate salt to treat the proliferative disorders.
N-Cyclopentyl-5-(2-((5-((4-ethylpiperazin-1-yl)methyl)pyridin-2-yl)amino)-5-fluoropyrimidin-4-yl)-4-methylthiazol-2-amine succinate.
A method of inhibiting CDK 4/6 in a subject in need thereof, wherein the subject has a cancer selected from the group consisting of colorectal cancer, breast cancer, cervical cancer, liver cancer, lung cancer, ovarian cancer, pancreatic cancer, lymphoma, leukemia, prostate cancer, or brain cancer, comprising administering to the subject N-Cyclopentyl-5-(2-(5-((4-ethylpiperazin-1-yl)methyl)pyridin-2-yl)amino)-5-fluoropyrimidin-4-yl)-4-methylthiazol-2-amine succinate.
