Abstract
A method for producing a lithium-transition metal composite oxide includes steps of preparing a first mixture including a lithium-containing compound and a transition metal compound, obtaining a compressed body by compressing the first mixture at least once, obtaining a molded body by molding at least the compressed body, and obtaining a sintered body by sintering the molded body.
Claims6
A method for producing a lithium-transition metal composite oxide, the method comprising steps of:
- preparing a first mixture including a lithium-containing compound including lithium hydroxide, lithium oxide, or lithium carbonate, and a transition metal compound including a transition metal hydroxide, a transition metal oxide, a transition metal sulfate, a transition metal nitrate, a transition metal carbonate, or a transition metal oxalate, by a dry process;
- obtaining a compressed body including the lithium hydroxide, the lithium oxide, or the lithium carbonate, and including the transition metal hydroxide, the transition metal oxide, the transition metal sulfate, the transition metal nitrate, the transition metal carbonate, or the transition metal oxalate, by compressing the first mixture at least once;
- obtaining a molded body including the lithium hydroxide, the lithium oxide, or the lithium carbonate, and including the transition metal hydroxide, the transition metal oxide, the transition metal sulfate, the transition metal nitrate, the transition metal carbonate, or the transition metal oxalate, by molding at least the compressed body, wherein the compressed first mixture is granulated into course particles prior to molding the compressed body;
- and
- obtaining a sintered body by sintering the molded body.
